Signal Processing Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Research, design, develop, and test innovative signal processing algorithms and systems for position, navigation, and timing (PNT) and electronic warfare solutions. Lead teams of engineers from problem definition through proof of concept to meet client needs. Collaborate closely with clients and other engineers to develop COTS-based systems to demonstrate the viability of concepts. Work in both a classified and an unclassified engineering lab environment where they oversee and actively participate in multiple projects. Coordinate with other Booz Allen engineers across the firm and the defense industry. Serve as the technical leader of the local team and as a subject matter expert in signal processing across the firm. Propose and lead internal investment projects to strengthen Booz Allen’s position as a leader in signal processing engineering.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering (EE)

  • Experience with signal processing lab equipment, including guiding the purchase of new equipment as needed for projects or capability enhancement

  • Knowledge of signal processing techniques and industry best practices

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in EE

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to work with phased-array antennas

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Master’s degree in EE a plus

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Compensation:

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 165,000 to 195,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
