Operational Planner, Mid

Key Role:

Assist in the development of policies and procedures in support of Reception Staging Onward Movement Integration (RSOI) and medical evacuations. Monitor medical support during Non-Combatant Evacuation Operations (NEO) and medical support in joint theater multinational military exercises. Apply knowledge of primary care medicine and clinical topics to direct and ensure success of the soldier medical readiness mission. Engage with medical counterparts in the host nation military and civilian communities to achieve mission objectives with greatest emphasis on the current pervading goal of defeating the COVID pandemic. Play a primary role in serving as the liaison to a health organization in support of COVID actions, responses, and issues. This position requires up to 25% travel.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a military medic or with military medicine or medical readiness
  • Experience with Personnel Health Assessments (PHA) profiles
  • Knowledge of military medicine procedures and patient care
  • Ability to show a score of 3 or higher on the DLPT in the Korean language
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Military Medic certification
