Construction Oversight Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Lead the development of client facilities and infrastructure requirements throughout the life cycle via creative approaches which achieve preferred functional end-states. Develop innovative solutions based on advanced principles within the facilities industry. Apply specific functional knowledge.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in construction management

  • 1+ years of experience with Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) or United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) capital improvements projects

  • Experience in developing and analyzing construction schedules using MS Project, Primavera P6, or Schedule Analyzer reports

  • Knowledge of construction practices and techniques, including proper applications of construction materials and methods of installation

  • Knowledge of Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) and construction techniques

  • Ability to accurately calculate construction costs adjusted to reflect costs in the locality where the construction is performed to price the value of needed work

  • Ability to meet physical exertion requirements to perform the necessary services, including long periods of standing, walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, and reaching, climbing upon ladders, and other physical activity common to the performance of such duties

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering

  • Successful completion of Construction Quality Management Course within past 5 years
