Logistics Program Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Direct and coordinate program activities and supportability engineering designed to provide customers, management, and subcontractors with logistics technology that ensures effective and economical support concerned for manufacturing or servicing of products, systems, or equipment. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

-8 years of experience as a program manager, analyst or operations professional using DoD logistics processes, procedures, and policies  

-5 years of experience with Business Process Improvement (BPI) methodologies and practices

-Experience with Collateral Equipment (CE) requirements determination processes, procurement strategies and processes, and installation procedures

-Knowledge of Personal Support Equipment (PSE), Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E), and Personal Property and Plant Equipment (PP&PE) programming, budgeting, procurement, inventory control, and corrective and preventive maintenance programs that extend the useful service life of aforementioned categories of equipment

-Knowledge of logistics operations and planning in support of the MAGTF, including materiel support, health service support, facilities support, and service support

-Ability to communicate orally and in writing with diverse teams of geographically dispersed professionals

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with USMC Logistics processes, policies, and procedures

-Experience with database management and information management tools

-Experience with Logistics Facility Services Applications (LFS-Apps) and Defense Property Accountability Systems (DPAS)
