As an engineer on our team, you’ll work with Booz Allen colleagues and the U.S. Space Force to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle. Your customer will trust you to not only test, analyze, evaluate, validate, and verify these systems, but also identify areas requiring urgent mitigation up front and early to develop this system with advanced technology solutions.  Grow your skills by merging innovative engineering methodologies and cross-disciplinary coordination to create tomorrow’s solutions. You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in program management, systems engineering, and defense acquisition 
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 
  • Ability to expertly evaluate and generate schedules with Microsoft Project 
  • TS/SCI clearance 
  • Bachelor’s degree 

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with the DoD acquisition system and space acquisition processes 
  • Ability to understand a program critical path and offer solutions for schedule, cost, and risk issues 
  • Ability to identify, analyze, document, and report on technical and programmatic risks, issues, and opportunities
  • Ability to understand cost, schedule, risk, EVM, technical performance measures, technical specifications, and test reports from multiple contractors 
  • Master’s degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification 
  • Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Program Management Level II or higher 
  • Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Systems Engineering Level II or higher 

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
