Systems Administrator

The Challenge:

Your combination of people skills and technical expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. What if you could use your IT expertise to design, build, operate, and maintain secure systems supporting the US Military's mission critical infrastructure in Hawaii? We’re looking for a systems administrator who can help to create solutions for our Navy clients to modernize their IT Enterprise.

As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll be part of a fun and highly technical collaborative environment where you and other members of the team will identify ways to implement the latest technologies to support the networks and enclaves enabling our Navy client’s capabilities. You’ll work with fellow administrators, engineers, and the client to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer’s needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and dependable solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you’ll investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. As a team, we’ll take a critical approach to troubleshooting and problem solving, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and mission needs. You’ll install and setup various Windows or Linux systems and servers for organization-wide deployments, analyze and resolve problems associated with the operating system’s servers, hardware, applications, and software, monitor systems performance, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards. You’ll provide technical support and advice to other engineering groups and guide and direct leading-edge technical solutions for our Navy clients. Join our team of experts and contribute to making a difference in the security and capabilities of warfighter communications. While modernizing the Navy’s Enterprise IT Infrastructure, you’ll gain valuable expertise and experience in a highly technical and challenging environment. Join our team as we improve warfighter communications by designing, installing, testing, operating and maintaining robust, dependable, and modern networks.
