Budget Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as a Budget Analyst in support of an extensive exercise program. Provide analytical support for Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) activities necessary to prepare and submit budgets. Collaborate with leadership team, exercise planners, budget representatives and other key stakeholders to analyze, develop and validate spend plans. Provides timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by leadership team. Ability to work independently and work with a diverse client base. Ability to be flexible and fungible to meet client shifting priorities of effort and provide action officer level support. Participate and serve as budget representative in meetings with leadership and exercise planners.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience with DoD budget databases

• 2 years of experience of the DoD's Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process

• Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with applying formulas and functions to calculations and analysis in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledgeable of Management Decision Packages (MEDPs)

• Knowledge of General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS)

• Knowledgeable of DoD exercise programs

• Ability to communicate verbally and in written correspondence

• Possession of excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Master's degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
