Key Role:
Leverage information operations-based research, analysis, and planning expertise at the theater service component level to support and protect US national interests in the Indo-Pacific region. Support strategic communication and messaging and work with other services, geographic commands, and subordinate units. Collaborate with team members to support coordination and execution of inform, influence, engage and educate activities. Synchronize and integrate information-related capabilities (IRCs) into these activities. Liaise with functional IO experts and leverage available intelligence to examine, analyze, and recommend the most effective methods of operational IO support for planning, integration, and coordination of Joint US or combined multi-national operations, activities, and investments. Research, analyze, and assess the operational effects and performance metrics of IRCs in the information environment, including traditional and social media. Apply expertise to evaluat current operational plans, provide IO input to plans and CONOPs, and make recommendations regarding strategies to mitigate risks in accordance with operational performance metrics and gap analysis.
Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience in the Indo-Pacific Theater supporting IO or military information support operations (MISO) at Combatant Command or Army Service Component Command level
-2+ years of experience in a Joint environment
-2+ years of experience with Non-Lethal Fires
-Experience with the Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP) or service equivalent
-Experience with the five stages of the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC)
-Experience with social media platforms and research
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in Joint Targeting and Joint Fires training
-Experience with security cooperation plans and activities under a combatant command's theater campaign plan (TCP) security framework
-Experience with country desk officers
-Knowledge of the G-TSCMIS database and C2IE preferred
-Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Clearance:
