Software Developer, Senior

Key Role:

Plan, conduct, and coordinate major scientific programming applications of considerable complexity requiring a thorough understanding of all parameters affecting and interfacing with the application. Provide technical advice and consultation of complex scientific applications. Organize and direct the execution of broad programming projects to include Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Provide analytical support in the conceptualization, development, and implementation of multiple, inter-linked programs for Electronic Warfare and Threat Environment Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A). Develop scientific programming methods and documentation standards. Prepare cost analysis and justification for programming projects.

Basic Qualifications:

-10 years of experience with complex scientific programming

-Experience with software development for multi-processor systems using C++ or Python programming languages

-Experience with reviewing software products for soundness of technical judgment and adequacy

-Experience with supporting DoD programs

-Knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts and Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementation

-Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with peers and senior government officials

-Active Secret clearance

-BS degree in CS or Software Engineering

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of data structures and algorithms

-Knowledge of systems software design, operating systems, and architectures

-Knowledge of Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) concepts

-Ability to work independently or in a team environment

-Possession of excellent organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MS degree in CS or Software Engineering
