You Have:
-7 years of experience with science, technology, research, or development for directed energy systems
-5 years of experience with research and development of optical systems, including lasers, imaging, or targeting for defense applications
-5 years of experience with R&D, prototyping, or production of high-power laser systems
-Experience with systems engineering, including requirements development, system architecture, such as electro-optical, controls, power and thermal subsystems, system performance predictions and analysis, or requirements verification
-Experience with quantitative performance analysis, including Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP), line-of-sight and pointing, camera and sensor performance, laser performance, or radiometry
-Knowledge of engineering disciplines focused on optical, mechanical, electrical, thermal, and software and how to provide technical guidance to all disciplines
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
Nice if you Have:
-Experience with developing an architecture from scratch or developing hardware solutions for end-to-end optical and laser systems
-Experience in project management with a focus on technical supervision or guidance, and technical risk management
-MA or MS degree
