Air Domain Awareness Subject Matter Expert

Key Role:
Conduct air domain awareness (ADA)-related operations to enhance theater situational awareness, conduct gap analysis in regards to capabilities in theater and operational requirements, and develop recommended solutions based on gap analysis for the desired integration of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) data link capabilities and processes. Recommend Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and provide training, support, and guidance to Theater Tactical Data Link (TDL), ISR, and operations participants to enhance air activity reporting and collaboration among theater ADA participants. Evaluate ADA systems used within the theater and support integration, improvement, and development for program offices’ sustainment of existing data link technologies. Perform software or hardware evaluations of existing architectures, networking, and connectivity and recommend solutions to make ISR data more readily available to various theater users at the operational or tactical level. Leverage existing subject matter expertise, including theater guidelines, regulations, and policies to provide software, tool, and process training to ADA participants, partners, and collaborators.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with ISR data link capabilities and processes

-Knowledge of Air Domain Awareness TTPs

-Ability to evaluate ADA systems, including TDL architectures and networks.

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree
