Air Mobility Exercise Planner, Senior

Key Role:

Provide direct support to meet Component Major Command (C-MAJCOM) mobility exercise objectives in support of Theater Land Component exercise program. Acts as exercise planner, liaison, and Air Mobility Subject Matter Expert to execute planning, integration, execution, and coordination tasks in support of full-spectrum Multi-Domain Operations exercises, including Air, Space, and Cyberspace. Interpret all relevant data to formulate and present senior-level briefings on possible adversary objectives and their use of airpower capabilities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in operations, planning, developing, coordinating, and executing United States Air Force (USAF) or other Service participation in Command, Service, Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), or Combatant Command (CCMD) operations, exercises, demonstrations, and experiments

  • Ability to work at coordinating general staff level

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Graduate of Intermediate Level Professional Military Education, either correspondence or in-residence, Certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in planning and conducting air mobility operations

  • Experience at the Numbered Air Force level, including 3-star General Headquarters or above

  • Experience in an Air Operations Center (AOC), Joint Operations Center (JOC), or other service component operational level center or coordination cell

  • Knowledge of the Joint Operations Planning Process - Air (JOPP-A) and Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) processes

  • Ability to provide aeronautical rating as a Pilot, Navigator or Combat Systems Officer (CSO) or Air Battle Manager (ABM)
