Operational Experimentation Analyst, Senior

As a digital transformation consultant, you know that implementing improved digital initiatives with effective skills and knowledge of how Science and Technology is adopted in DoD is crucial for your client’s future. You’re eager to apply your advanced consulting experience and full understanding of Department of Defense Experimentation processes knowledge to develop creative solutions. We’re looking for someone like you to help organizations solve their traditional business challenges with new digital strategies and solutions. 

As a digital transformation consultant on our team, you’ll be trusted to perform analysis of government-defined mission gaps to understand command priorities for experimentation of mature capability prototypes by implementing an active watch on multiple capability developers, including defense and national labs, industry, innovation hubs, or academia to identify opportunities for experimentation. Using an active working knowledge of Indo-Pacific exercises, capability gap analysis, defining technical requirements, and an understanding of current and emerging, you’ll work closely with key stakeholders and other technical consultants to exploit experimentation opportunities where operational forces can experience emerging capability and provide feedback on potential military utility to implement transformative experiments which provide solutions to our clients’ toughest capability gap challenges.

  

In this role, you’ll directly impact military combat readiness by seizing opportunities to expose warfighters to mature capability prototypes which will translate into future warfighting capability. With opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing and collaborating as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:   

  • 2+ years of experience with Joint Capability Technology Demonstration (JCTD) or Joint Deployable Distribution Enterprise (JDDE) programs
  • Knowledge of regular interface with headquarters-level Science and Technology (S&T) organizations to further experimentation efforts
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:   

  • 2+ years of experience on an Air Force MAJCOM or Services’ headquarters staff
  • Experience with producing a JCTD, JDDE, Warfighting Lab Incentive Fund (WILF), or Rapid Defense Experimentation Reserve (RDER) nomination packages
  • Knowledge of Air Force Research Lab’s AFWERX program and how it supports and accelerates innovation
  • Knowledge of Air Force Missions executed by the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF)
  • Knowledge of PACAF and USINDOPACOM exercises, including venues, timing, and scope
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Master's degree
  • Senior Service School graduate

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
