Procurement Specialist

Key Role:

Support full life cycle asset management in alignment with Air Force Logistics Enterprise stakeholder strategies for the management, delivery, sustainment and services contracting for Pacific Air Forces Regional Base Cluster Preposition (RBCP) equipment and material. Provide senior leadership and operational support for asset procurement and inventory control and management from purchase through disposal. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Logistics Information Technology Defense Business System capabilities

  • Knowledge of Material Allowance Standards

  • Knowledge of Unit Type Code capability construction

  • Ability to gather and support stakeholder requirements

  • Ability to think critically, analyze and solve complex problems

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience with procurement and the asset management process or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with procurement and asset management processes

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience working on Strategic Level military staff, including MAJCOM or COCOM

  • Knowledge of the DOD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process

  • Ability to create effective information papers, emails, reports, and various types of briefings

  • Ability to present products to stakeholders and decision makers to achieve key outcomes

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Master's degree

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Certified Project Management Practitioner (CPMP), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) certification
