Contractor Special Security Representative, Mid

Key Role:

Maintain day-to-day responsibility for broad security support for designated projects and programs. Serve as the local security representative under the direction of government security managers. Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and government regulations. Maintain security manuals and make revisions, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with security and working in DoD, intelligence community (IC), or other industrial security programs and government security regulatory manuals

-Experience with applying tailored, responsive multi-disciplined security support, including personnel, physical, technical, operational, and information security aimed at the protection of personnel, information, facilities, programs, and capabilities

-Experience with implementing, interpreting, and applying IC and DoD security policies, including NISPOM and ICDs and requirements for classified and sensitive compartmented information programs

-Knowledge of personnel and physical security policies and regulations, including ICD 705 and ICD 704

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED required

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of contract and acquisition security practices

-Ability to provide constructive, tactful, and discrete security advice and guidance to personnel across all levels, including senior managers, peers, subordinates, and customers

-Ability to analyze complex problems, develop and articulate focused solutions, and take independent action in an often-ambiguous work environment

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent customer service skills

-Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) or Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
