Key Role:
Plan, coordinate, resource, and execute protection-related partner nation (PN) requirements, including combined exercises and subject matter expert exchanges (SMEE) under a Combatant Command's Theater Campaign Plan (TCP) security framework. Support Army client security cooperation engagement planning efforts, including counter-improvised explosive device (C-IED), counter-small unmanned aircraft system (C-sUAS), and Identity Activities (IDEX) planning. Identify and analyze PN capability gaps, support PN capacity building efforts at home and abroad, develop long-range roadmaps and agreed to actions, and foster collaboration and sharing towards intra- and inter-governmental cooperative solutions. Coordinate and synchronize with client headquarters and its components to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of PN engagements.
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience with a military general staff headquarters
Experience with military planning processes
Experience with DoD operational procedures
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working in the Indo-Pacific region preferred
3+ years of experience as a military Foreign Area Officer preferred
3+ years of experience with working at an American Embassy overseas preferred
Knowledge of the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) preferred
Knowledge of the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) and G-TSCMIS database preferred
Experience with SOCIUM, C2IE, or OHASIS
Ability to network collaboratively in a multicultural environment
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
TS/SCI clearance
Project Management Professional, Master Trainer, DISCS, and DISAM Certification
