Project Control Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Serve as a Project Control Analyst for a newly established Program Management Office. Leverage expertise in a wide variety of detailed financial and administrative activities for relatively large or complex programs, organizations, or proposals. Participate in budget preparation and may authorize budget expenditures. Anticipate and respond to customer needs and may serve as a primary point of contact for customers and invoicing requirements. Recommend procedures to be used to monitor programs, organizations, or invoicing. Interpret and implements cost estimating, invoicing, and documentation requirements. Define parameters for estimate preparation and provide work leadership for junior employees, as required.

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with working in a business or financial management environment

-Experience with invoicing

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint

-Ability to think analytically and conduct trend analysis

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with federal government contracts

-Experience in Subcontracts and Consultants Management System (SCMS) software

-Experience with supporting FEDSIM contracts

-Experience with Microsoft Excel, including using formulas and functions in calculations and analysis

-Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, federal budget process, and funds management

-Ability to accomplish financial forecasts based on bottom-up analysis and historical trends

-Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent leadership skills

-Project Management Professional, Certified Defense Financial Manager, or Certified Government Financial Manager Certification, or other applicable Certification
