Project Travel Coordinator

Key Role:

Serve as the Project Travel Coordinator for a newly established Program Management Office. Leverage expertise in program-level reporting and communication processes, manage travel and other direct purchases and interface directly with government clients. Compile technical, financial, and other project data using various database programs for inclusion in reports or presentation materials. Assist with compiling requests and obtaining travel approvals. Compile trip reports and perform an initial review of travel expense reports. Support management of travel documentation processes for all CONUS/OCONUS travel. Follow reimbursement guidance in FTR, JTR, and DSSR to compile and submit monthly invoices for cumulative travel costs by CLIN.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with the contract portal management systems
  • 3+ years of experience with travel systems, procedure, processes, reporting and tracking in CONUS and OCONUS locations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with government contracting operations and business operations
  • Knowledge of force protection processes
  • Ability to be collaborative and promote a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree
