The Challenge:

As a software engineer on our team, you’ll work with others to solve problems with complete end-to-end solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. We’re looking for someone like you to use your experience in ground and satellite systems from vision to production-ready systems.

As a software engineer on our team, you’ll work alongside other developers to overcome your customer’s most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches and developer operations using tools like Python and alongside open source frameworks and tools. You’ll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques, while helping to identify and implement system improvements. Using the Agile process, you’ll help build the necessary frameworks for the team to succeed in critical mission essential tasks. You’ll help analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution your team is developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

Work with us as we build systems to change our ground systems serving our military clients for the better. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., including the District of Columbia.

You Have:

-2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting the DoD

-Experience with ground and satellite systems

-Experience in using C, C++, Python, or Java

-Experience with Agile development environments

-Knowledge of data analytics and data gathering  

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree  

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with the U.S. Air Force, Space Command, or Space Force

-Experience with Docker

-Knowledge of the systems problem sets in the U.S. INDOPACOM theater

-Ability to brief senior leaders, including military officers

-Top Secret clearance
