Full Motion Video Analyst

The Challenge:

Do you find yourself constantly looking for more and better information? Do you want a job where you can use your knowledge and research skills to improve national security? Never has the role of an all source analyst been so meaningful. More connected devices, larger storage capacity, and faster connections have resulted in an explosion of available information. The problem facing the intelligence community (IC) is no longer how to get more data – it’s understanding how to turn the data they have into answers. That’s where you come in. With critical thinking and flexibility, you quickly seek out the accurate data sources, sift through the raw data, and turn it into valuable intelligence. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters, protect our national security, and inform our nation's leaders.

Full-Motion Video (FMV) intelligence analysts are responsible for applying subject matter expertise in the production and fusion of FMV, Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), and National Technical Means (NTM) data supporting a Combatant Command's area of responsibility (AOR). FMV analysts focus on the integration of FMV with all other sources of information to derive unique insights and enable further advanced analytics. Work on the innovation and modernization of FMV processes and workflows, integration of that data with multi-INT datasets, and development and integration of advanced analytical processes.

Be a self-starter who can independently work with customers and data providers from the tactical to strategic levels. The primary focus is counter-threat and transnational threat issues, though you will work on additional priority intelligence focus areas as potential work areas for advanced analyses. Be comfortable in the use of FMV analysis software, including the analysis of NTM and integration of data within ESRI ArcGIS software for follow on analytics to easily make recommendations to modify Concept of Operations (CONOPS), tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) addressing client needs.

Empower change with us.

You Have:

-3+ years of experience with conducting FMV exploitation and analysis in conjunction with other data sets

-3+ years of experience with writing and editing clear, concise intelligence products

-Experience with developing CONOPS, TTPs, and SOPs for government approval

-Experience with providing multi-INT analysis and integration using ESRI ArcGIS software

-Ability to facilitate integration of FMV data into multi-INT exploitation activities at the Combatant Command level

-Ability to provide input into operational planning, technical exchanges, pilot projects and innovation efforts

-TS/SCI clearance required

-AA or AS degree and 5 years of experience with FMV analysis, BA or BS degree and 2 years of experience with FMV analysis, or 7 years of experience with FMV analysis in lieu of a degree

-Experience with advanced search techniques, information databases, data visualization, and related tools

-Experience with FMV and PED tools, including MAAS, DVA, NES, ITK, ArcGIS, SOCET, Videx, Motion DSP, SOCET GXP, or RemoteView

-Experience with the extraction of feature data using NTM, Mapping, Charting and Geodesy (MC&G) Stereo Imagery, Digital Point Positioning Database (DPPDB) or an Orth Rectified Mono equivalent, including Precise Terrain and Ortho Product (PTOP), Mr. Sid Orth Rectified GeoTIFFs (MSOG), Precise Orthorectified Image Datasets (POl D), and Controlled Image Base (CIB)

-Knowledge of JEMA a plus

-Ability to create, update, and manage geospatial information system databases and products

-MA or MS degree a plus
