IT Planning Specialist

Key Role: 

Ensure the client’s enterprise technologies are aligned against capability shortfalls. Participate in initial and continuation planning to support the client’s enterprise IT compliance, documentation, and intelligence planning. Support system baseline planning, including working with key stakeholders and operational and functional roles to assist with assessments of the current state and relevant future systems capabilities. Ensure technology planning and practices are aligned with the client’s IT strategic goals and overall strategic roadmap while providing technical consulting services, training, and direction as part of a team for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) frameworks and methodologies.

 Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with IT strategic planning and project management
  • Experience with C4I network and communications modernization, and IT portfolio management
  • Experience with data analysis, assessment, and automation
  • Experience with creating highly specified project briefs from customer IT requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Knowledge of DoD coalition networks and systems
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • BA or BS degree

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills
  • BA or BS degree in IT
  • ITIL v3 Foundations Certification
  • IT Industry Certification
