Intelligence Systems Architect

The Challenge:
Do you find yourself constantly looking for more and better information? Do you want a job where you can use your knowledge and research skills to improve national security? More connected devices, larger storage capacity, and faster connections have resulted in an explosion of available information. The problem facing the intelligence community is no longer how to get more data – it's understanding how to turn massive amounts of data into displayable answers. That's where you come in. With critical thinking and flexibility, you quickly identify, track and report on adversary conventional military activities in support of the client mission and turn it into valuable intelligence. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters, protect our national security, and inform our nation's leaders.

As an intelligence systems architect on our team, you'll provide Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Intelligence (C4I) system architecture support to the client and maintain currency and proficiency on advances, upgrades, and changes to theater C4I systems. You will also follow all standard technical procedures which set conditions for transmitting to and from the Common Operational Picture (COP), as necessary to facilitate situation reporting. As the SME on our team, you will coordinate with higher headquarters, allied forces, and other agencies on theater-wide intelligence architectures. Finally, you’ll train operators on DoD standard Order of Battle, Theater Intelligence Picture (TIP), and COP tools and applications. Finally, you will provide training and technical support for adversary order of battle templating, CIP and COP-related intelligence systems used in client spaces. On our team, you’ll provide both "as is" and "to be" IT system architecture support, compliant with the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), to support strategic planning of the command's Intelligence IT Systems enterprise.
