Personnel Security Specialist

As a security specialist, you use your specialized technical experience and your attention to detail to develop training, programs and reports to give your client the efficiency and context they need. As a security specialist on our team, you’ll help your client understand security clearance program concepts and principles. Using your understanding of governing laws, regulations, precedents, and directives covering DNI, DoD, and SCI personnel security processes and procedures, you’ll advise top-level agency security and subject matter managers on policy developments and advances. You’ll validate information and apply best practices as you build assessments and programs for clients. As the authority on your topic, your client will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills related to security programs and operations and share your methodologies with other security specialists. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. You Have:

  • Experience with personnel security program administration, EQiP, CAF interaction, derogatory information processing and adjudicative guidelines

  • Experience with implementing security training using learning development platforms and technology

  • Knowledge of Defense Information System for Security (DISS)

  • Knowledge of Scattered Castles

  • Top Secret clearance

  • BA or BS degree

  • Ability to obtain a Certificate of Completion of the twenty-hour Security Manager Course within 90 days of hire


Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with implementing federal security guidelines 

  • Experience with LENEL badging systems

  • TS/SCI clearance

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
