Environmental Curriculum Developer

Key Role:

Develop a curriculum that covers all aspects of environmental policies, regulations, and spill prevention, detection, and response. Create a Hazardous Waste Handler course to meet Japanese and overseas regulatory requirements and incorporate the client's specific program requirements. Provide environmental representatives with a means to access environmental training, smart books, emergency contact number, policies, regulations, and examples on the job site. Develop and publish a training schedule for all client tenants, including an automated process for class registration and certification. Develop and publish an automated compliance tracking system to manage tenant unit compliance, required remedial action if out of compliance, and when validation of corrective action will occur. 

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with curriculum development and creation of supporting material

-Ability to develop the classroom portion of the courses for approximately 40 to 60 hours lesson time, including lecture, tabletop and practical application exercises, guided discussions, and hands-on training to reinforce learning objectives

-Ability to develop Microsoft PowerPoint course slides, student and instructor guides, and course admin files

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of the systems approach to training

-Knowledge of DoD environmental regulations, policies, and implementation

-Knowledge of DoD training methods, standards, and techniques

-Ability to obtain a security clearance
