As a South Korean linguist, you use your specialized language skillset and your attention to detail to translate a variety of documents to give your client the actionable information and context they need. If you have expertise in translation and interpretation and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters.

As a South Korean linguist on our team, you’ll help your client to understand the cultural nuances behind counterpart engagements. As the authority on your linguistic skills, your client will look to you for time critical needs, often under pressure. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. You Have:

-3 years of experience with the military or government intelligence or operations
-1+ years of experience in a combined environment or foreign language expertise with a military or government environment

-Ability to show a score of 3/3 for the Korean language according to the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) scale

-Ability to demonstrate proficiency in written translation and sequential oral interpretation at combined engagements and training activities to and from Korean and English
-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with the military and government communities

-Experience with the military or government in the South Korean theater of operations

-Experience with oral interpretation at official functions to support unit and dignitary representatives

-Possession of excellent collaboration skills, including working with government and other contractor staff

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
