Data Architect

As a data architect, you know how to apply your creative-thinking and analytical mindset to help organizations manage their data assets. We’re looking for a data architecture lead like you to solve complex challenges and deliver leading-edge solutions for the Department of Defense.

In this role, you’ll lead the development of a modern data solutions team that helps to acquire, engineer, and govern DoD enterprise data resulting in a large-scale, data-centric platform from vision to production-ready system. You'll apply a wide range of Cloud technologies to lead the development of data integration pipelines, scalable data storage environments, Application Programming interfaces (APIs), security procedures, and algorithms used to deliver data faster and more accurately to decision-makers. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience with data architecture, data warehousing, and data governance

  • 5+ years of experience with leading business process reengineering, business process assessment, or business architectural development

  • 5+ years of experience with developing highly responsive data structures, metadata capture strategies, ontologies, or data dictionaries

  • 3+ years of experience with managing an enterprise data catalog for a large organization

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with managing classified and sensitive data

  • 3+ years of experience with leading data operations teams to develop architecture, policies, extract-transform-load (ETL) data pipelines, and data mode

  • Knowledge of DoD enterprise data mission space and systems

  • Top Secret Clearance

  • Master's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering preferred

The salary for this position will be determined based on various factors. The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 125,000 to 180,000.
