C-IED Training Integration Cell Planner

Key Role: 

Support planning and management of an Army Service Component Command’s C-IED or emerging threat campaign plan at the division level and below. Analyze the development of and review and implement policy and guidance for C-IED or emerging threat requirements. Assist unit commanders and operations staff with integrating theatre-specific C-IED or emerging threat training into Home Station training, field training, pre-mission training, combined training center rotations, and Joint and combined exercises. Coordinate with force providers to meet pre-deployment training requirements, sharing of emerging threat capabilities, and the ability to counter them. This position requires travel throughout Europe up to 25% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience with the US military
  • 3 years of experience with C-IED or Explosive Ordnance Disposal programs and activities
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 10 years of experience with C-IED operations and training, BA or BS degree and 6 years of experience with C-IED operations and training, or MA or MS degree and 3 years of experience with C-IED operations and training

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with working on an Army Division or Brigade staff
  • Experience with operating in a multinational environment
  • Possession of excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Clearance:
