Business Operations Director

Key Role:
Lead the coordination of all internal and external deliveries of enterprise support functions to market teams doing business in the Europe/UK region while overseeing enterprise priorities for delivery of services in alignment with the business needs, deadlines, and risk management needs of the region. Lead the team through multiple large and complex projects, develop strategic solutions by anticipating needs, opportunities, and obstacles leveraging the entire suite of internal capabilities and services, and lead the strategy aspects of various projects related to international support services in Europe. Lead a cross functional, highly matrixed team and international vendors to deliver against the business strategy, including working across the firm to provide integration of leadership input, and applying expertise in key functional areas and best practices for service delivery. Serve as the Authorizing Officer and assume all responsibilities required to ensure compliance with firm and UK immigration regulations for the UK Hub Office and drive the initial stand up activities for the UK office. Provide thought leadership and innovation on the delivery of support programs to market teams conducting and growing business in the region. Ensure successful international vendor management and critical capability development to drive world class service delivery to meet business requirements by developing partnerships within ESG, peers, stakeholders, business lines, and external vendors. Direct and coordinate the internal structure of the organization based on company policies, goals, and objectives to ensure an efficient working environment and consistent meeting of deadlines while continually educating stakeholders on international support needs, risks, and opportunities.

Basic Qualifications:

-15+ years of experience with standing up business operations

-Experience in a business leadership role in the European region, including expertise in local statutory requirements

-Experience with leading and managing international support services' operations functions

-Experience with developing strategies and standing up operational support functions in an international setting

-Experience in coordinating with onsite and offsite global teams, including influencing and working with multiple cultures

-Experience with using the Sponsorship Management System (SMS)

-Experience with technology tools, including Excel and PowerPoint

-Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with national and international staff of multiple disciplines both within and outside of the firm

-Ability to analyze and determine trends and patterns in data to provide recommendations to stakeholders at various levels, including stakeholders significantly higher in the organization

-BA or BS degree or 20+ years of experience with business operations
