Employee Communications Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Support a fast-paced government client as a member of a thriving team. Provide a range of communications support from strategic communications planning to execution, including workforce event planning for workshops and forums, developing marketing campaigns for those events, and providing input on other client communications initiatives. Draft and edit a variety of communications materials and products, including talking points, scene setters for leadership, informational summaries, weekly newsletter submissions, and Web site content. Work independently and contribute to the team in a collaborative, creative environment.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with strategic communications

-Experience with communications planning

-Experience with meeting and event planning and execution

-Ability to work well with senior leaders, respond to changing priorities, and adapt writing style to meet the needs of audiences at various levels

-Ability to have a professional demeanor and enthusiasm for client and teammate collaboration

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in consulting, including government consulting, a plus

-Experience with intelligence community a plus

-Knowledge of content management systems, including Joomla and WordPress, a plus

-Knowledge of client communications channels and vehicles, a plus

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including editing skills

-MA or MS degree or MBA degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
