Graphics Designer, Junior

Key Role:

Design and develop visual communications materials for the organization's marketing publications, Web sites, or other media. Prepare layouts, art, and determine style, size, and arrangement of illustrations and text. Use the latest graphics design technology and computer software. Provide technical and operational support to projects and programs. Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the area of expertise.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with graphics design or visual communications

-Experience in dealing with clients wanting to prepare complex infographics and data visualization products, including FINTEL

-Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects and Microsoft PowerPoint

-Experience with formatting data into concise and visually appealing communications products

-Ability to provide an excellent portfolio showcasing broad design expertise

-Ability to multi-task across multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced newsroom or communications team environment

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Web design and multimedia and interactive projects

-Experience with usability, including UI and UX

-Possession of excellent customer support and collaboration skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in Graphics Design or a related field

Clearance:
