Learning and Development Consultant, Lead

The Challenge:

We want you to bring proven instructional design and program management experience to lead our project management curriculum by identifying, designing, developing, delivering, monitoring or evaluating, and sustaining learning solutions. You will continuously assess, execute, and monitor to ensure the curriculum is engaging and interactive. You will collaborate with executives and stakeholders to identify current and upcoming training needs. You will prioritize projects based on need, resource availability, and impact, monitor curriculum budget, and manage project risk. You will monitor the market for trends, best practices, and industry standards to keep processes and methodologies progressive. You will foster a team environment of learning, progress, inclusion, coaching, and teamwork. You will serve as an internally recognized specialist in the learning and development space, and use in-depth project management experience, including identifying, qualifying, selecting, and monitoring vendors and suppliers.

You Have:

-10+ years of experience with instructional design, including creating engaging and interactive learning curriculum by applying industry standard methodologies, such as ADDIE, SAM, and Agile to the full life cycle of course development, creating training needs analysis, course design documents, instructional materials, implementation strategies, and program evaluations, ensuring the timely completion of multi-discipline learning programs, managing multiple project schedules and stakeholders, applying expertise in eLearning authoring tools and coaching to implement adult learning theory for wide modalities, including ILT, vILT, online learning, Webcasts, mobile, video, and microlearning, and developing and nurturing client relationships and working closely with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and business leaders

-6+ years of experience with managing large-scale programs focused on learning and development and human capital or people programs

-Experience with designing and implementing a variety of learning programs and creating supporting course documentation, including design documents, storyboards, art style guides, and learning objectives

-Experience with analyzing and de-conflicting information from a variety of sources to form instructionally sound course content

-Experience with presenting to and interacting with senior leaders in a consultative manner and as a leader in a collaborative and matrix environment

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Microsoft Project or other project management software

-Knowledge of learning technologies, including Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate

-Ability to translate complex concepts or data into graphically appealing and easy-to-understand presentations

-Ability to build consensus and effective cross-functional relationships

-BA or BS degree

-MA or MS degree, Instructional Design Certification, or Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)

-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
