ServiceNow Portal Developer

Key Role:

Serve as a technical resource on ServiceNow Platform disciple to analyze, design, develop, and expand services, and capabilities. Perform highly complex analysis, design, development, testing and debugging of technology in support of IT Service Management. Develop and apply advanced methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems. Collaborate with larger team on requirements to analyze, develop, and implement new features, upgrades, and enhancements. This position is open to remote delivery from any location in the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications

-8+ years of experience with IT application systems development, administration, or engineering and configuration management

-3+ years of experience with ServiceNow Platform Development

-2+ years of experience with ServiceNow ITSM

-Experience with ITIL

-Knowledge of HTML, HTML5, and scripting, including JavaScript, ServiceNow JavaScript API, Shell, and Python languages or frameworks

-Knowledge of network discovery tools

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of Windows, UNIX, or Linux systems, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Cloud

-Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments and use initiative to accomplish results

-Ability to gather, analyze, and communicate metrics

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff at all levels

-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

-ServiceNow Administrator Certification or ServiceNow Scripting Certification
