Key Role:
Work as a mid-level internal communications professional for a government client. Create and implement communications plans to gain employee buy-in of client initiatives. Draft and edit internal and enterprise-wide news and information to inform the client's workforce, including regular newsletters, announcements, leadership messages, and articles. Develop and manage content for the client's web site, including blog posts, articles, and leadership messages and create collateral content, as needed. Coordinate, publicize, and host periodic events, including brown bags or town hall meetings to highlight programs and initiatives of importance to the client and its workforce. This role is 100% on the client site with no remote delivery.
Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience in a professional work environment
-Experience with writing and editing, including tailoring content to different audiences' needs and levels of understanding
-Knowledge of various style guides and rules of grammar and punctuation
-Ability to identify improvements in the client's processes or offerings and recommend solutions
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with web site content management systems, including Joomla! and WordPress or HTML a plus
-Experience with government consulting a plus
-Knowledge of the client's communications channels and client culture a plus
Clearance:
