As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape tactical communications for the AF by leading efforts to engage a combat command as the lead command for airborne networking. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. On our team, you’ll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like evolving antenna and software defined radio (SDR) technology, agile system development, and model-based systems engineering. Grow your skills by merging your background knowledge of ACC/A5J to create prototypes and orchestrate demonstrations in conjunction with other members of the team, as well as the government program office for tactical datalinks. You Have:

-Experience with tactical datalinks (TDLs) and airborne networks

-Knowledge of ACC/A5J and how they are organized as the lead command for TDL requirements

-Knowledge of the Airborne Networks Program Office

-Ability to comprehend associated technology, including SDRs, advanced antennas, and gateways to support the development of advanced TDLs

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

Experience with specific TDLs, including Link 16, IFDL, and MADL

-Knowledge of AF and DoD processes for prototyping, demonstration, and development, including activities, such as Joint Capability Technology Demonstrations (JCTDs) and other related initiatives

-Ability to translate highly technical concepts into operational terms

-Top Secret clearance

-MA or MS degree
