The Challenge:
Your combination of people skills and technical expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. What if you could use those skills to improve the technology supporting the Marine Corps? We’re looking for a systems administrator with experience supporting application hosting with Microsoft Windows IIS and MS SQL server to help us build next gen software for the US military.
As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll be the on-site systems administrator working to ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available, constantly looking for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies, update and patch application systems, and support applicant release schedules. You’ll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to modernize the system to help your customers meet their needs. You Have:
5+ years of experience with IT systems support, including configuration, testing, networking, and administration
Experience with supporting production web servers
Experience with supporting mainstream database servers
Experience working with virtual infrastructure
Experience with Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
Knowledge of installation, support, and maintenance for both physical and virtual network servers
Ability to install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, and operating systems on servers
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
IAT II Cybersecurity Workforce IA Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience with supporting Microsoft IIS Server
Experience with supporting modern Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with supporting VMware or vSphere
Experience working as an SA within a large DoD Enterprise
Knowledge of networking concepts
Security CE+ Certification
Microsoft Server OS Certification
Clearance:
