Community Planner, Mid

Key Role:

Work on assignments of moderate complexity to insure efficient utilization and accountability for space and facilities within assigned plant area, under limited supervision, with freedom for independent actions. Coordinate space facility requirements for modifications and new construction with users. Review and analyze rental and lease agreements and renewals and extensions. Analyze space utilization requests and requirements and recommend appropriate alternatives. Plan, coordinate, and implement furniture, office, and factory moves. Develop new and unusual solutions based on advanced principles within the facilities and construction trades as guided by the plan, schedule, and budget as assigned. Define requirements, select approaches, and utilize computerized programs for the analysis of requirements and tracking of project.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with developing, reviewing, analyzing, and updating Basic Facility Requirements (BFRs), USFJ Form 42s, site planning, and other associated planning documents for tasked projects
  • Experience with performing site visits and technical inspections
  • Knowledge of CAD and GIS
  • Ability to prepare documents for submission to the Marine client
  • Active Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • PE or AdPA and AICP Certifications
