Facilities Project Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Research, plan, design, and administer building projects and leverage expertise in design, construction procedures, zoning building codes, and building materials. Consult with the customer to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structure and renovation and prepare designs, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time data. Plan the layout of projects, integrate engineering elements into unified design, and prepare scale drawing and contract for contractors. Conduct observations of work during construction to monitor compliance with specifications and use computer-assisted engineering and design software. Apply extensive technical expertise and comprehend other disciplines and develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Guide the successful completion of major programs and function in a project leadership role.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience with providing technical assistance to tenant and user activities on all matters in the areas of proposed construction contract modifications, criteria development and compliance, functional layout, maintenance and technical requirements, standards, and construction and project scheduling
  • 3 years of experience with data collection, research, analysis, input, advice, and recommendations for the planning and execution of tasked projects
  • Ability to identify discrepancies or inadequacies in structure, design, system requirements, and functional or performance reliability per US standards and requirements
  • Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience as a professional engineer or registered architect preferred
  • BA or BS degree in Engineering or Architecture
  • PMP Certification preferred
