Security Planner, Mid

Key Role:

Provide consulting services on assignments of moderate complexity to ensure efficient utilization and accountability for space and facilities within the assigned plant area. Assist and support with development, planning, programming, and implementation of physical security infrastructure. Identify and refine physical security requirements for planned facility projects and existing infrastructure, and coordinate with physical security managers, ensuring master plans and projects include appropriate physical security requirements. Coordinate space and facility requirements for modifications and new construction with users and reviews and analyzes rental and lease agreements, renewals, and extensions. Analyze space utilization requests and requirements and recommend appropriate alternatives. Plan, coordinate, and implement furniture, office, and factory moves. Analyze the development of new or unusual solutions based on advanced principles within the facilities and construction trades as guided by the plan, schedule, and budget as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with researching applicable security standards and effectively communicating the application of these standards to project stakeholders to broker viable solutions that best meet the intent of these standards within a Host Nation Funded Construction (HNFC) environment
  • Experience with providing balanced solutions within project constraints to meet overall project objectives
  • Knowledge of Force Protection standards
  • Ability to perform technical studies of existing and planned physical security systems and facility infrastructure for each facility projects to determine what systems and infrastructure is needed to meet identified physical security requirement
  • Ability to develop cost analysis and budget forecasts for planned physical security systems and infrastructure as well as performing risk analysis for threats and facility security risks
  • Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree
