Agile and Scrum Master, Senior

Key Role:

Work with teams to track and report detailed metrics to provide status, demonstrate progress, and identify potential areas of risk that must be escalated to senior management. Manage multiple product backlogs and lead backlog development and regular backlog grooming activities in partnership with product owners and technical team members. Work closely with project leadership to support long-term planning, development, and prioritization of the product roadmap. Work with senior leadership and Agile teams to lead all preparation for all Agile ceremonies, including Program Increment (PI) planning, PI demonstrations and reviews, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demonstrations, and Retrospectives. Assists with the Product Owner and other stakeholders in user story creation and product Backlog grooming via emergent requirements. Ensure user stories include testable validation criteria. Analyze functional requirements and system models to determine missing elements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as a requirements or business systems analyst

  • 2+ years of experience as the Scrum Master of a development team

  • Experience with working in Agile teams and developing user stories

  • Experience with writing technical documentation, including requirements, user stories, help documentation, and job aids

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • BA or BS degree

  • Scrum Master certification 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with leading client delivery engagements and working with senior-level client management 

  • Experience with using business process modeling tools and standard modeling conventions

  • Ability to define project goals and work independently to complete projects while adhering to the established schedule

  • Advanced Agile Certification, including IC-ACC, CSP, SASM, or PMI-ACP
