GeoBase Administrator, Mid

Key Role:

Design and develop geospatial, imagery, full-motion video, or remote sensing solutions to solve problems and create products in areas, including national security, natural resource management, health, or urban planning. Apply specific functional, working, or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with the use and administration of Esri ArcGIS Desktop and Server solution  

  • Knowledge of web mapping applications using JavaScript, HTML5, or CSS

  • Knowledge of server-side software, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcSDE, or ArcGIS Server 

  • Ability to perform GIS data development and integrating enterprise geospatial applications into new and existing business processes  

  • Ability to produce technical documentation 

  • Ability to troubleshoot desktop, web, database, and server problems

  • Ability to provide formal and informal training 

  • Ability to produce technical documentation 

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with programming and scripting

  • Knowledge of advanced relational database concepts

  • Knowledge of the USAF GeoBase Program 

  • Knowledge of Internet Information Server (IIS) and Oracle 

  • Ability to troubleshoot desktop, web, database, and server problems in a DoD environment

  • Master's degree in a scientific or technical field 

  • CompTIA FSA, IAT Level II, or CompTIA Security+ Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
