Military Maritime Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex and highly sensitive systems, policies, processes, and instrumentation related to foreign threats and homeland security. Determine procedure for solving complex design, integration, and analytical problems. Perform and direct scientific and technical intelligence analysis. Report changes, trends, and implications regarding design and integration of evolving systems and instrumentation. Prepare briefings and reports on analysis methodology and results. Provide work leadership for junior level employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience with theater security cooperation and bilateral or multilateral engagement planning and execution
  • Experience with drafting military orders
  • Experience with preparing and presenting formal documents to senior government officials
  • Experience in maritime activities, maritime security, and maritime security cooperation in the Asia Pacific region
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of the Navy Planning Process and Military Operational Planning Process
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Active Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) security cooperation program or US Embassy Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC)
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • MA or MS degree
  • Graduate of the Maritime Advanced Warfighting School (MAWS)
