Undersea Warfare Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Bring in-depth understanding and expertise to one or more aspects of service or joint missions, processes, and culture. Apply expertise in undersea warfare and information technology risk management framework (RMF) to client missions and directives. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise using understanding of the US Navy and subsurface missions. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems using CONOPS delivery and training policies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Department Head Submarine commissioned or non-commissioned officer at the unit department level leading Chief Petty Officer (LCPO) and staff levels, including at least one Submarine Squadron, Immediate Superior in Charge (ISIC), or Type Commander tour

  • Experience with information technology integration, software development, or risk management framework (RMF)

  • Experience with operational planning (OPLAN) and Operational Availability (Ao) for all classes of submarines within the Pacific Area of Responsibility (AoR)

  • Experience with submarine mission planning, Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), and Undersea Warfare (USW)

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Submarine Force training systems and delivery

  • Experience with Submarine deployment and mission readiness requirements

  • Experience with information technology integration, software development, or risk management framework (RMF)

  • Knowledge of Navy submarine underway operations, including use and design of tactical equipment, such as periscopes and masts, information systems and networks, combat control and sensor suites, and communication and navigation equipment systems

  • Knowledge of Submarine Maintenance planning and standards

  • Knowledge of Submarine unmanned systems and Seabed Warfare (SSW)

  • Knowledge of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Office 365 Suite

  • Top Secret clearance
