Network Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Analyze complex local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluation, selecting operating systems and protocol suites, and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices. Resolve difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation across all platforms, including e-mail, files transfer, multimedia, and teleconferencing. Configure systems to user environment. Support acquisition of hardware and software and subcontractor services. Serve as a technical project leader and provide work leadership for junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) activities and maintaining classified networks

-Experience with Cisco and Brocade network hardware platforms

-Experience configuring network devices

-Knowledge of Cisco Secure Access Control Systems (ACS), SolarWinds Orion Network Monitoring, and General Dynamics Encryptor Manager (GEMX)

-TS/SCI Clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Security + Certification

-CCNP, CCIE, or BCNE Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of US Air Force Intel Software

-Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, DRA, Active Directory, SharePoint and Visio, and

-Knowledge of Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) layers for troubleshooting and installations

-MA or MS degree

-PMP Certification
