We’re looking for a Solaris Unix Server Administrator to create, secure, patch, and maintain Solaris Unix servers in a virtual environment located both locally and remotely.

As a Solaris Unix Server Administrator on our project, you’ll Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Solaris Unix server hardware and software. You will manage server account access to systems, equipment, and file shares as well as maintain domain system policies to administratively enforce application and security settings for users and computers and the structure of rights for accounts, groups, and file shares. You’ll help customers overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. We focus on growing as a team, so we’ll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together. You Have:

• 3+ years experience a Solaris Unix Server Administrator

• Secret Clearance

• HS diploma or GED

• CompTIA Sec+ ce certificate

• Oracle Certified Professional, Oracle Solaris 11 System Administrator certification

Nice If You Have:

• Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)

• VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) certification

• Veritas Certified Specialist certification

• NetApp Certified Data Administrator, ONTAP certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
