Defense Global Force Management Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Bring Global Force Management expertise to a Joint DoD customer. Work with leadership to identify and plan resources to timely allocate staff expertise and material at a strategic level. Engage with exercise and training planners to integrate operational planning doctrine and coordinate with other DoD stakeholders in the Pacific Region to prioritize resource allocation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with operating in a Joint Staff or operational training environment
  • 1+ years of experience with global force management at the component, Combatant Command, or Joint Staff level
  • Experience with reviewing operational requirements for military forces, conducting feasibility assessments (FA), and developing sourcing recommendations
  • Knowledge of DoD missions, functions, and interrelationships between the DoD, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, and the interagency community to develop and implement command-wide policies, programs, procedures, and strategies for global force management
  • Knowledge of the Joint Staff and Joint Force Provider (JFP) business rules for global force management and application in developing and implementing DoD policies, programs, and procedures
  • Knowledge of DoD force posture, capabilities, and enablers in support of DoD resource allocation
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Joint Operations Planning and Execution Systems (JOPES) software, Joint Combined Requirements Management (JCRM), or Logbook system
  • Ability to read and understand Capstone Guidance contained in 10 USC, Unified Command Plan, National Security Strategy, and National Defense Strategy
  • MA or MS degree
