Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness Analyst

The Challenge:

Critical decisions are made every single day in our client site. What if you could use your financial and audit readiness skills to help clients make informed decisions? As a Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) Manager’s Internal Control Program (MICP) analyst, you will use your specialized skills to detail and develop a Financial Improvement Plan (FIP) for each assessable unit within our client’s spaces. If you have strong audit readiness validation skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a quest for a challenge we have a fantastic opportunity to use those skills while living in amazing South Korea in support of our client.

You will help our clients and external auditors to document and understand the nuances behind the client’s business processes, financial systems and financial statements. As the audit readiness authority, our clients will look to you for time critical needs, often under pressure. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you will have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience as an auditor or accountant

  • 1+ years of experience with the DoD

  • Experience with DoD or Army financial management policies and procedures

  • Knowledge of internal control procedures, government auditing processes, and DoD audit policies

  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR)

  • Ability to work with multiple customers and work independently

  • Ability to brief senior leadership

  • Secret clearance

  • BA or BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

Nice if You Have:

  • Experience with functional military or government in General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Standard Finance System (STANFINS), Standard Operation and Maintenance Army Research and Development System (SOMARDS), Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-Army), Mechanization of Contract Administration Services  (MOCAS), Economic Development Administration (EDA), or Wide Area Workflow (WAWF)

  • Experience with military or government in Defense Travel System (DTS), Government Travel Card (GTC), or Government Purchase Card (GPC) programs and systems

  • Knowledge of Special Operations Command (SOCOM) financial and audit policies and procedures

  • MA or MS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

  • CPA, PMP, or CMMI Level III Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
