Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness Analyst, Senior

The Challenge:

As a Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) Manager’s Internal Control Program (MICP) analyst, you will use your specialized skills to detail and develop a Financial Improvement Plan (FIP) for each assessable unit within our client’s spaces. If you have strong audit readiness validation skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a quest for a challenge we have a fantastic opportunity to use those skills while living in amazing Korea in support of our client.

As a FIAR/MICP senior analyst you will help our client and external auditors to comprehend the nuances behind the client’s business processes, financial systems and financial statements. As the authority on your management skills, our client will look to you for time critical needs, often under pressure. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you will have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. You Have:

-7 years of experience with DoD accounting or auditing

-4 years of experience with supervising or directing the efforts of staff

-Experience with Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circulars A-123, A-134, A-136 and other OMB policies

-Experience with DoD and Army financial management policies and procedures and Army policies, systems, and procedures for personnel, acquisition, inventory, property, and material management

-Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal controls over financial reporting (ICOFR)

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with functional Military or government in GFEBS, STANFINS, SOMARDS, GCSS-Army, MOCAS, EDA, or Wide Area Workflow (WAWF)

-Experience with Military or government in DTS and the GTC and GPC programs and systems

-Ability to display conversational Korean language expertise

-Possession of excellent collaboration skills to work with government and contractor staff

-MA or MS degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field

-CPA License or PMP Certification

-CMMI Level III Certification for service and development related to Data Integration Solution
