Incident Response Scrum Master, Mid

Key Role:
Ensure team is fully developed and executing on Scrum principles and ensure focus on sprint goals to achieve the highest performance level as a Scrum project is successfully progressed. Apply scientific and functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge to achieve Scrum goals to assist and improve the the client's Incident Response product line. Work on a multi-functional team made up of analysts, developers, data scientists, and a team lead. Work directly with the analysts and the Team lead as the central point of communication and knowledge transfer in a fast-paced operational environment. Work on a multi-functional team made up of analysts, developers, data scientist, and a team lead that collaborates in support of a specific mission. This position may require shift work in the event of a contingency operation, such as a natural disaster, where days are split into 8-10 hour shifts supporting 24/7 operations and additional support is brought in to help the team. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Scrum Manager

  • Experience with supporting program activities using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to quickly learn technical concepts and communicate with multiple functional groups

  • Ability to build relationships with managers, product managers, and owners

  • Ability to work shift work as needed for contingency operations supporting 24/7 operations

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with large scale programs for government clients

  • Experience with Jira, including managing a Scrum or Scrum Agile environment

  • Knowledge of Jira administration, workflow development, and ticket configuration

  • Knowledge of software development project life cycles

  • Scrum Master Certification
