Incident Response Team, Lead

The Challenge:

The Team Lead develops, executes, and streamlines business processes to support a DoD platform on the Incident Response product line. You’ll move quickly in a fast-paced and fluid environment to support the Agile development of a project roadmap, establish project milestones, and implement metrics to track progress, while leading your team to support mission success. This role is part of a multi-functional team made up of analysts, developers, and data scientists and everyone on the team collaborates in support of a specific mission. Working directly with this team, the Team Lead role will be the central point of management and coordination in a fast-paced operational environment.

You Have:

  • 15+ years of experience in uniformed military or civil service
  • 10+ years of experience with leading technical or multi-functional teams
  • 3+ years of experience with managing classified and sensitive data
  • 3+ years of experience at a Combatant Command, Star Joint, or Combined Headquarters
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, project management processes, and a program functional area
  • Experience with supporting large scale technical program activities to track cost, schedule, and performance
  • Ability to quickly learn technical concepts and communicate with multiple functional groups to build relationships with managers, product managers, and owners
  • Ability to work shift work as needed for contingency operations supporting 24/7 operations
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with project or program management
  • 5+ years of experience with business process reengineering, business process assessment, or business development for a technical solution
  • Experience with CCMD and DoD
  • Knowledge of analytical and data challenges across the J-Codes
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition and a program functional area, including operations, policy, data gathering, analysis, or government contracts preferred
  • Knowledge of software development project life cycles
  • Ability to display a positive, can-do attitude to solve challenges, handle ambiguity, difficult personalities, changing priorities, and failure, and lead by serving
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal and presentation skills
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master’s degree
