Joint Operations Center Technician, Mid

As a Joint Operations Center (JOC) technician, you will use your skillset and your attention to detail to give your client the actionable information and context they need. As a JOC tech on our team, you’ll help your client gather information, organize information, and brief information as it pertains to the mission. As the continuity in the JOC, your client will look to you for time critical answers, most of the time under pressure. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. You Have:  

·       2 + years of experience in military operational level headquarters applying staff processes and leveraging task management systems

·       1+ years of experience in a Joint Operations Center or command post at Component, Service, Major Command, or Joint Staff level

·       Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note, and Outlook

·        Knowledge of military command and control systems, including Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) and Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN)

·       Ability to use secure video conferencing, telecommunications equipment, and communications protocols during exercise and real-world emergency situations

·       Ability to develop and present written and oral reports, briefings, and presentations in a mission-critical environment

·       Secret clearance

·       HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:  

·       2+ years of experience in the Korean theater of operations

·       1+ years of experience supporting Special Operations

·       Ability to operate Crestron, telecommunications, and audiovisual presentation and display software and equipment

·       Ability to score 2 or higher on the Defense Language Proficiency Test or civilian equivalent in the Korean language

·       Ability to work as part of a team in a mission-critical environments requiring close coordination and collaboration skills

·       Ability to achieve certification in DoD and Combatant Command Foreign Disclosure regulations, policies, and procedures

·       TS/SCI clearance
